Corrosion Resistance Of Color Coated Substrate

- Jul 24, 2017 -

The corrosion resistance of the substrate of the color coated  substrate board mainly includes: corrosion resistance of bare board, corrosion resistance after molding and cutting edge sacrifice protection. These three properties vary with the type of substrate. The corrosion resistance of the substrate is the basis for determining the ultimate life of the spray coating board. In general, substrates with no good corrosion resistance, even with the best coating structure, still do not get excellent corrosion resistance of the color coated substrate. Even if the substrate has excellent corrosion resistance of the bare board, but its processing performance or shear edge protection performance is poor, the same will affect the color of its original plate corrosion resistance and service life.

Huaxing chooses surface coating technology, using optical coating board, af coating has a variety of methods, the specific content see the following details:

Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet refers to the standard hot-dip zinc coating steel products. The existing coating weight range according to ASTM as 75 ~ 700g / ㎡

Hot-dip galvanized steel plate refers to the hot-dip galvanized steel plate by heat treatment method, the surface of the pure zinc layer into zinc - iron alloy layer δ1 phase coating steel products. Existing coating weight up to 180g / ㎡.

Hot-dip aluminum plate refers to hot-dip aluminum coated steel products. The weight of the different coatings of the existing Type I and Type II products may be in accordance with ASTM A463 (Type I products are made in aluminum containing about 8% silicon and Type II products are made in industrial pure aluminum. Building with color coated board for the main type Ⅱ).

Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (trade name: Galfan) is a hot-dip coated steel sheet containing Zn-5% Al-mixed rare earth alloy. The existing coating weight range according to ASTM A875 and Euronorms as 50 ~ 350g / ㎡.

Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (trade name: Galvalume) is a 55% Al-1.5% Si-43.5% Zn alloy hot-dip coated steel products. The existing coating weight is AZ50 (0.50oz / ft2) to AZ60 (0.60oz / ft2) according to ASTM A792, or corresponds to AZ150 (150g / m2) to AZ180 (180g / m2).

Electro-galvanized steel (Electrogalvanized) is a galvanized coated steel plate products. Existing coating weight up to 180g / ㎡.
